China Care Fund Ltd (“CCF”) assist close to 3,000 senior high school students annually. Its funding expended on providing assistance exceeds RMB 10 million annually.

As at to date, a total of RMB 92 million had been expended in assisting 12,891 senior high school students in 8 provinces, namely Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Gansu, Qinghai, Yunnan, Jiangxi and Xinjiang.

Students were chosen for assistance on the basis of 2 criteria: (1). academic excellence; and (2). having come from families whose annual income falls below a stipulated level.

Students’ applications for assistance would be carefully scrutinized first by the local education bureau, then the schools. Upon confirmation of accuracy and acceptance by the authorities, each and every one of the applicants will undergo a home visit currently undertaken by CCF’s own alumni. Upon passage of these stringent scrutiny, students’ information would be presented to sponsors / potential sponsors for plausible matching.

As an assisted student, he/she will receive assistance for 3 years and for so long as he/she remains in school and completes his/her senior high school examination. He /she will be visited regularly by CCF’s staff and his/her sponsor.
